One day, it was very hot. A farmer was working in the field(田地). Suddenly a rabbit ran very fast and crashed into a tree. It fell to the ground and died. The farmer was excited.
He picked up the rabbit and took it back home. That night, his wife cleaned and cooked the rabbit. It was a delicious dinner. They enjoyed it and at e happily.
" Working in the field everyday is hard work. But picking up a rabbit is so easy, " he said to himself. From then on, the farmer stopped working. All day long, he just sat in the field and waited for a rabbit. But no more rabbits crashed into a tree again.
At last, all his vegetables died.So he had nothing to eat. Don't be like the farmer. Don't wait for another rabbit. We should work hard for opportunities(机会). Don't just wait for opportunities.
