ls it better to be a wise person or an intelligent(有才智的) one In other words, when it comes down to wisdom and intelligence, which is more important
When I think about wisdom and intelligence, I think that there are two kinds of people in the world: wise people and intelligent ones. My dad was a wise man. He used to say, “There's no such thing as a stupid question.” My dad encouraged leading. He always made it a fun experience.
On the other hand, I had another friend who was really intelligent. He got straight A grade at college and a first-class degree in Advanced(高等的) Maths. He attended a birthday party at my house once and asked if there was anything he could do to help. I asked him to peel(剥) the eggs for me but he didn't know how to do it.
So for me, there are clear distinguishments between wisdom and intelligence. Intelligence; is the ability to gleam and get knowledge, such as facts and figures, and then use this information accordingly. Wisdom comes from experiencing life. We learn through our experiences and use this knowledge to make decisions.
So, is one better than the other Well, both are important at certain times in our lives. For example, you would prefer to have an intelligent person working as a safety officer in a nuclear power plant(核电站). However, if you were receiving counselling(咨询) for a mental breakdown, you might prefer a wise person.
In fact, we should use our own intelligence and practice it in our own everyday experiences. By using intelligence this way, we can learn how to be wise ourselves.

A. He disliked peeling eggs. B. He liked doing housework.
C. He did well in schoolwork. D. He was not good at maths.
68. The underlined word “distinguish ments” in the passage means “_________”.
A. relationships B. situations C. Advantaged. D. differences
69. Which of the following may the writer agree with
A. No hard work, no intelligence. B. Not all people can be a wise man.
C. Intelligence can change into wisdom. D. Wisdom is more important than intelligence.

The scientists who did the study think there are some reasons for the big fall in health. First, too many of today's kids are overweight.
