Yin Shaman is now a graduate student at Jishou University. Though she is young, Yin is an “old” volunteer. She started doing volunteer work when she was still a 14-year- old girl.
When she was a little girl, Yin was in poor health. Once, she saw some volunteers take care of patients in a hospital. She was deeply touched. So Yin joined her school volunteer group. She began helping others in her free time.
Yin entered university in 2023. Since then, she has volunteered to teach at more than 20 rural (乡村的) primary schools. Each week, she has to travel a long way to these schools, but she has never thought of giving up. In addition to teaching, Yin also visited many families in rural areas.
