European cities are known worldwide as popular tourist destinations (目的地). Every year, thousands of people go to cities like Venice and Amsterdam to learn about their history, experience their culture and just have fun. But some of the cities have been taking action to reduce the number of visitors.
Venice is known for its beautiful landmarks, such as St. Mark's Square. But people there say that the large cruise ships (游艇) that sail near the city center are ruining their appearance, according to The Telegraph.
Residents have complained that the “ugly” ships are much bigger than the local buildings. They make the area look strange, as well as damage the canals (运河). In response, the Italian government stopped cruise ships from sailing past St. Mark's Square last year.
In Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, noisy tourists are unwelcome. The city has worked out plans to limit the number of tourists who can come to the city, the Daily Mail reported. Many residents believe that increasing tourism has brought more litter to the city's streets. It has also caused an increase in noise pollution.
Airbnb and other “home rentals” that are popular with tourists will face restrictions (限制), too. Fewer tourists will be able to stay in the city. “Beer bikes”, or multi-person bikes that have tables for drinking beer, will also be restricted. The plants and animals by the lake have enough food and clean water to keep themselves healthy. The wind carries pure air, and the rain comes down clear and clean.
But recently, the lake and her friends haven't been feeling very well. All the plants and animals got together to talk about the problem, but they didn't have a solution.
Just then two hikers (徒步旅行者) appeared. The plants and animals told them about their problem. “I think it's because of acid rain (酸雨). Acid rain comes from chemicals in the air. The chemicals come from factories, cars and trucks,” one hiker said.
“So, although I don't want to, I help the chemicals travel through the air!” said the wind. “And I carry the chemicals to the land!” cried the rain.
With the help of the plants and animals, the two hikers made a list of ideas for saving the lake and her friends. Time passed, and the environment there became better.

People across the world need to get moving, according to a new study by the World Health Organization (WHO).
About 25 percent of adults do not get enough exercise, according to the study. This figure (数字) hasn't changed from 2001. Because of this, about 1.4 billion people are at greater risk for deadly diseases such as heart disease and cancer.
People should do at least 150 minutes of “moderate intensity (中等强度)” exercise each week, such as dancing or swimming. They can also do 75 minutes of “vigorous intensity (高强度)” activities, such as running or playing soccer, according to the WHO.
As for how to exercise more, experts suggest we don't have to go to the gym every time, the Guardian noted. For example, we can go up and down stairs a lot instead of taking the lift. If we don't feel we can go to a dancing class each week, standing on one leg for 30 seconds a day is very good too.
The study also found that women are less active than men, with 32 percent of women fail to exercise enough, compared to 23 percent of men. Women tend to spend more time at home taking care of children and doing housework, Time noted.
Countries with higher incomes showed higher rates of inactivity (静止). For example, people in Kuwait and the United States exercise less than people in Uganda and Nepal. This is partly because in developed areas, desk jobs have taken the place of manual labor (体力劳动).

He often pointed at a peach and a plum tree in his yard when asking his students to work hard. “You should become a useful person and do work to benefit the society, just like when the peach and plum trees bloom and yield fruit,” he said.
76. And they went on to different places around the country, achieving great things along the way. They would plant peach and plum trees to show their respect for their teacher.
When Zizhi traveled around the country and saw his students and the trees they planted, he was very pleased. “77. They are everywhere, and they have achieved great results.”

One Possible Version:
Dear teachers and students,
A clean environment can help people feel happy and healthy. But now our environment has become worse and worse. So how can we help protect it Here are some ways.
First, we should drive less. We can go to school or work on foot or by bus as often as possible. It can not only protect the environment, but also is good for our health. Second, we are supposed to sort the rubbish into different groups because some can be reused or recycled. Third, we had better plant more trees, one tree a year at least. What's more, stop littering! If necessary, put things you don't need in the bin.
There's a lot for us to do to help the environment. I think if everyone does something, our environment will become better and better.
