The Chongyang Festival falls on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month (农历). So it is also called the Double Ninth Festival. To celebrate the festival, people usually climb mountains and enjoy chrysanthemums (菊花), so the festival is also known as the Height Ascending (登高) Festival or the Chrysanthemum Festival. Nine has the similar pronunciation with “forever”. So the Chinese government set the day as the Seniors’ Day in 1989.

In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, people in the imperial palace all ate flower cakes and climbed the mountain to celebrate. Climbing the mountain has been a kind of custom since the Western Han Dynasty.
Chrysanthemum means long life, so enjoying chrysanthemums and drinking chrysanthemum tea are also popular. Inserting Zhuyu and sticking chrysanthemum are also traditions to avoid the bad as they have special smells which can repel (驱逐) insects and keep out the cold.

5.A
考查has been to以及has gone to的区别。has gone to去了某地(未回来);has been to去过某地(已回来)。根据“Where’s Mr. Yang”可知,杨先生不在说话地,所以是去了龙泉山,还没有回来,故第一空填has gone to,排除C和D选项。根据“three times”可知,去过三次,且there是地点副词,前不加任何介词,用has been。故选A。
6.C

have gone to...去了……;have been to...去过……;根据“but she will be back in three days.”
it’s它是;that那个;this这个;it它。feel it+形容词+to do sth表示“感觉做某事是……

根据“How do we turn on the oven ”及“weren’t you listening ”可知表示过去的动作对现在造成的影响,用现在完成时,故选C。
15.B

differently副词;different形容词;more different形容词比较级;most differently副词最高级。
